Article: Human Growth Hormone Improving Fibromyalgia - by Lisa Wells, RN

Does human growth hormone have any relationship to fibromyalgia? Clinical studies have been done and a correlation was found between fibromyalgia sufferers and HGH. The researchers found that a good number of patients diagnosed with fibromyalgia also had low human growth hormone production and release. This was verified by their low plasma IGF-1 levels. Patients who participated in the studies saw definite improvements with HGH therapy. Some improvements were seen in the first 6 months with significant improvements being seen after 9 consecutive months of HGH therapy. Studies of test subjects also found that fibromyalgia symptoms decreased substantially with the increase of their IGF-1 levels. After the study the patients saw a worsening of their fibromyalgia symptoms when the HGH was discontinued. Improvements in the symptoms of fibromyalgia have been reported by patients taking the HGH injections and also by patients taking non-injection HGH supplements that work by increasing the pituitary gland's own production and release of human growth hormone. In the past 5 years I have had many positive reports from my clients taking homeopathic HGH therapy, including myself. Most of my clients have reported improvements in the first month, and this was the case with me. Before homeopathic HGH I lived with fibromyalgia pain every day. There was hardly a minute that I wasn't aware of the burning pain in shoulders and back. Now, I no longer have that pain, I sleep better and I have much more energy, as well as other benefits. I recommend anyone who has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia or anyone who thinks they may have fibromyalgia speak with their doctor and request he/she do a plasma IGF-1 level to check to see if their human growth hormone is very low. HGH decreases with age and so your doctor may tell you that your IGF-1 level is considered "normal for age", but you should see exactly what your IGF-1 level is. HGH therapy is based on healing and rejuvenating the body by improving our IGF-1 levels back to a younger and more healthy level, so it is preferable to have an IGF-1 level that is considered normal for a person younger than yourself. In closing I would like to say that I always recommend everyone considering any type of human growth hormone therapy consult their private healthcare provider.
