  Article: Simplified Kundalini Yoga - by Murugesan Gopalakrishnan  
     
  It has been Eons since Man has started inhibiting the earth. By God's Gift Man has got what is called Sixth Sense by way of evolution. But because of the heredity he still carries with him the Animal Instincts in him. Man is got between his habitual way of living and the Ideal way of living. He has to bring his habits into a right way and this needs his mind to be conditioned. Here is where the Guru comes into one's life who is an embodiment of patience, love and Divinity. By his guidance, the life force at Mooladhara is raised and placed at Agna Charka. This is called Kundalini Yoga. Since this is done in a simple way, it is called Simplified Kundalini Yoga.

By practicing this meditation regularly and in a proper way, the mind gets calmed and conditioned Divine Experience. One's Self Realization process is enabled. Our memory improves and we can carry out our activities with more energy and vigour.

Meditation Practices:

Agna Meditation:

A master of SKY passes his power by touch to the aspirant and the Kundalini Power is aroused. To start with, the aspirant will feel a vibration in the Agna Chakra( between the eyebrows). This meditation will improve awareness and will-power. It will further enable the practitioner to withdraw from the external sensory activity and thus conserve the Life-force. This will free the aspirant from the forgetful state because of his improved awareness.

Shanthi Yoga:

After arousing of the Kundalini power in the aspirant, one needs a control of the power. Whenever the vibration or the flow of the Kundalini power increases to the stage of discomfort, it can be easily controlled by practicing Shanthi Yoga. This will also help to regulate the physical routines of the body.

Thuriya Yoga:

In Thuriya Yoga, the Master, by his graceful sight passes the divine Yogic Power again and lifts the Kundalini power up to Sahasradhara. The Kundalini Sakthi will begin to vibrate in the Sahasradhara( topmost portion of the head), giving a very pleasant sensation. Here the mind will get much shorter frequency in its function, so that it gets link with the Universal energy-field. Intuition and certain siddhis (Extra Ordinary powers) will be experienced in this stage.

Thuriyatheetha Yoga:

By the merciful thought-force of the Master, the aspirant is taken to the Thuriyatheetha state. Here, the soul merges into the Absolute State of the Almighty. This psychic practice is called Samadhi and Communion with God. This state is the Realization of Consciousness. The Jiva-Brahma Ikyamukthi is this state.

Introspection Course:

To further guide the Aspirant in his Soul Consciousness, the Introspection courses have been designed with four stages.

The brief details of the levels and the courses are given below.

Introspection Course- Level 1:

Meditation:
1. Panchentria Meditation - meditation on the five senses of Human body.
2. Pancha Bootha Navagraha Meditation - Meditation on the Five Elements Earth, fire, water, Air and Ether(Akash) combined with the nine planets that influence our lives.

Lectures:
1. The need of Introspection. The Greatness of Silence.
2. The Philosophy of Life.
3. Analysis of Thoughts.
4. Moralization of Desire
5. Benefits of blessing

Introspection Course - Level 2:

Meditation:
1. Thuriyatheetha Yoga:
2. Manonmani
3. Increase of Life Force - Deepa practice

Lectures:
1. Neutralization of Anger
2. Eradication of Worries
3. Realization of Self
4. Sinful Imprints and ways to eliminate them.

Introspection Course - Level 3:

Meditation:
1. Nithyanandam
2. Nine Point Meditation (Onbothu Maiyam)
3. Increase of Life Force - Mirror Practice

Lectures:
1. Life and Mind
2. Philosophy Of Mind
3. Evolution of Universe
4. Action Imprints - Cause and Effect
5. Karma Yoga - Purifying of genetic center
6. Peace in Family

Introspection Course - Level 4:

Meditation
same as in the level 3, bring about an understanding of the nuances of the meditative practices, their benefits and Curing of Diseases.

Lectures:
1. Why Men differ?
2. Before Birth and after Death
3. Astronomy and Astrology
4. Evolution of Universe
5. Brahma Gnanam and Philosophy of Action and Result.
Silence Programme:

There is a unique programme in which we maintain Silence in a Retreat . Yogiraj Vethathiri Says that when one is Silent, God talks to him.

When one sits in a calm place and just keeps quiet, he can observe the numerous thoughts that come into one's mind. Where do these thoughts come from? The thoughts are nothing but the expression of the mind. Mind's frequency is but the frequency of the Life Energy Particles. The Mind records whatever we do at our genetic center and when we are quiet replays it for us. Our Mind shows that we have all these imprints inside ourselves and keeps showing us these imprints when we get into that state of mind again.

So when we are quiet and silent, when others do not disturb us, we are doing meditation and conserving our Life Force. But our purpose should be during this time to concentrate on the Inner Self, and treasure what we get due to this contact and live by them.

Brahma Gnanam and Teacher's Course:

After proper training in the above mentioned courses and meditative practices, the qualified personnel are welcome to attend the above course which is held in Singapore and India. The aspirant gets knowledge of the Brahman (Absolute) and trained as a teacher to be service to the Society.
