It is an undeniable truth that the physical balance is the key to better health. It should be your way of life and part of your daily living.
There are six characteristics of the physical balance that compose "Health": H- Humor E- Exercise A- Appearance L- Leasure T- Tranquility H- Habits Humor. According to Raymond Moody, Jr, MD, "humor has a profound connection with the physiological states of the body". It is suggested that the average person needs fifteen or more laughs a day to stay healthy.
Exercise. Set aside a specific time each day in advance. Follow a regular routine for just twenty-one days. Behaviorists say new habits form in three weeks, so you are more likely to keep exercising after the initial three week "trial" period is over. Appearance.Identify those things about your appearance that give you the sense of well-being, because life looks better when you do. Give equal attention to the things that you want to change in order to bring a sense of health and balance to you as you travel your life journey.
Now it is your choice to take action. Leisure. Choose time for you by finding time and activities allowing you to replenish and revitalize your own physical balance. Tranquility. Defined as "free from disturbances or turmoil". Two mechanisms that can help you effectively cope with turmoil and disturbances are rest and relaxation. They are essential to a healthy and balanced body.
Habits.
If you do not take care of your body, you won't have a place to live. Your
habits play a determining role in the kind of health you will enjoy. Add two
more ingredients to the above formula for better health: Commitment and
Dedication. |
