Article: Take Charge of your Life Using Feng Shui - by Tony Cuneo & Candace Czarny

Most of us are unaware that we are being affected daily by energies (such as electro-magnetic fields) that we do not see or feel. Unaware, we create the energy that is manifesting in our lives. Through the principles of Feng Shui and increased awareness of our actions, we can take more control of our lives and businesses and create the world of which we dream. The science of Feng Shui manifests itself in everything we see and touch every day. This article will address the Feng Shui "life stations," how to set the "life stations," and the most common Feng Shui "ailments" and their cures.

Feng Shui means "the way of wind and water, the natural forces of the universe." These forces affect everything in our world. The ancient Chinese believed in and lived their lives by these natural forces. The Europeans call this science geomancy. The Hawaiians and the Native Americans practice their own form of this science.

The science of Feng Shui uses the Baqua shape and the eight stations of life: prosperity, relationships, helpful people, new knowledge, family, children, fame, and career. Each one of the life stations on the chart correlates to a location in your home or store (for the purposes of brevity the word building will be used.) These physical locations house the energy (the electromagnetic field) that you have created for that station of your life.

To locate the physical life stations, place the chart over the floor plan of your building with the career location (the "door swings" side of the chart) directly over the front door of your building or stand in the doorway of the building holding the chart with the "door swings" closest to your body. The sides and corners of the Ba-qua shape relate to the physical walls and corners of your building. For example, as you walk in the front door of your building, the prosperity corner is in the far left corner of the building, the new knowledge corner is in the left corner closest to the door, the relationship corner is in the far right corner and the helpful people corner is in the right corner closest to the door. The career station is on the same wall as the front door and fame is on the opposite wall of the building facing the front door.

Now that you have located the physical life stations it is time for a Life Station Audit. The Life Station Audit is like a reality check. We are usually so busy in our everyday lives that we fail to see what is right under our nose. Take a look at what energy you have or haven't created in the life stations. How are your relationships? Take a look at the relationship corner of the building: is your dirty laundry basket sitting in the relationship corner or is there a vase of flowers with a picture of loving people? How about your finances: is your prosperity corner sitting empty or is there a healthy plant growing like your bank account?

You can begin to take charge of your life by completing an audit of all your life stations. Identify the physical life station locations in the building. Identify what elements, symbols, and energy you have chosen for each life station. Take the time to think about your choices. Is this really what you want to manifest in your life? The energy you create in the life stations is exactly what you will manifest in your life.

It really is that simple. However, there are a few technicalities that will determine the quality, quantity, and timing of what you create. Defining and understanding your desires, learning how to create and magnify energy, and creating the environment for acceptance will be critical to your success.

Defining Your Desires When creating the energy of your desires, it is important to know what it is you want down to the tiniest detail. If you want prosperity, how much do you want? If it is a new car, what kind of car? A four door or two door, and for what purpose? In making these decisions, ask yourself these questions:

How will this desire affect my life? How will this desire affect my family? How will this desire affect my neighbor? How will this desire affect my country? How will this desire affect the planet? How will this desire affect the universe?

Think very carefully when answering these questions. You will receive what you ask for. The question is, do you want the effect that this desire brings?

Having answered these questions, remember to create for the highest and best good for all.

Creating & Magnifying Energy

Once you have determined what it is you really want, you can create that energy by writing it on a blank piece of paper. Clear your mind of everything, including all of the "shouldŽ, ought toŽ, and have toŽ" of other people. Meditate for a few moments on your desire; feel and visualize it as if you already have it. Place this written desire in a red envelope in the locations to which it correlates. Affirmations are best written in the present tense. Example: I earn $4,000 per month. You have now sent a clear message to your higher self of what it is you want. We believe our higher self is programmed to do exactly as we ask it. Most of the time we do not clearly ask or believe we will receive it.

Once you have created the energy of your desire, you can increase the quantity of that energy by using magnifying elements. All energy is a natural force. Listed below are a few natural forces you may use to increase and magnify energy. Add these to your life stations to magnify the energy of your desires: plants (can be silk), crystals, lights, copper pennies, candles, mobiles (anything that moves), music, mirrors, pictures, or Chinese coins.

Here are some examples of combining elements to be placed in a life station. Loving pictures, romantic music, and candles in the relationship corner will create the energy for loving, romantic relationships. Healthy plants, three Chinese coins, and mobiles in the prosperity corner will create growing prosperity. Pictures of children with affirmations taped to the back on a table with a healthy plant on the "children wall" will create what you affirm (remember not to infringe on the free will of another person). If you are sick your picture with affirmations and the appropriate herbs on the "health wall" will assist in your recovery.

Start by setting the electromagnetic fields of each life station for the exterior walls and corners of your building. You can enhance or enlarge the electromagnetic field of each life station by addressing the life stations of each room in the building. This is done in the same manner. Place the Feng Shui Life Stations chart with the career wall (the "door swings" side of the chart) over the entrance to each room in the building. Then set the walls and corners of each room. In doing this you will find that the building corners and walls will represent two different life stations, the life station for the building walls and corners and the life stations for the room corners and walls. These dual corners and walls can be very powerful. Examples: Wealth/Helpful People, Fame/Children, Health/Relationship. Set these corners and walls for both life stations. In the case where the corner is a door, hang symbols from the ceiling above the door.

Creating the Environment for Acceptance

Your desire will manifest in relationship to the quantity and quality of the energy you create. For example, if you create the magnetic field of a wonderful relationship but do not believe that you deserve it, when the wonderful relationship is manifested, it will not last because you do not believe you deserve it. You must do the mental and emotional work to allow yourself to accept what you create. Referring back to the section on Defining Your Desires, think long and hard on the questions in the section. They will help you identify your desires and if you probe deeply enough, they will help you understand your emotional blocks. The timing and quality of the manifestation will be largely dependent on your desire for openness and growth.

The Most Common "Ailments & Their & Cures"

The objective of good Feng Shui is to create harmonious flowing energy that enhances our personal energy field. Any element that is disruptive to, drains, or cuts our energy field can be "cured." Fortunately, you do not have to tear down your building and start over.

Sha or Hard Energy

The first common ailment that we will consider is Sha or hard energy which is the opposite of Chi, the soft flowing energy. Sha destroys, whereas Chi flows. Sha is typically found in walkways, hallways, or entries. A half moon and sun or chime can be hung in walkways, hallways, and inside the front door to capture the Sha and transmute the energy into Chi. Bells on a door will also assist in transmutation of Sha.

Missing Corners

In some construction today, buildings and rooms are not square or rectangular (the most desirable shapes for Feng Shui), creating a situation where life station corners are missing. The cure for this is to create an electromagnetic field that completes the corner. This is done by putting a lamp stand, boulder, or tree in the location of the missing corner and placing mirrors that reflect the opposite corners. The ailment of missing corners is also found in interior construction where the issue of angled walls is present. This ailment can be cured by hanging a half moon and sun in front of the angled wall.

Cutting Corners

The protruding corners of furniture, cabinets, columns, and walls send out an electromagnetic field that cuts human energy field, draining energy every time you pass or stand in front. The simple cure is to put red on the corners to hold the energy field from protruding. A red dot or ribbon placed at the top or bottom of the edge will hold the energy field.

Cutting Fields

Electrical machinery emits an energy field that will cut your field. Microwaves, computers, and televisions are common examples of machines that will cut your field. Place red dots or ribbons on the edges of the machines to hold the field in place.

Fans

Although fans can cool you down, they will also disrupt the energy you have created. The absolute worst place for fans are in any of the life stations and over your bed. Fans will blow away whatever you create in the life stations. Above you bed they will disrupt the energy of the room, causing the break up of relationships and even affecting your health.

The Vortex

When entering their Hogans, members of the Navajo Nation always set the spin of the homes by entering the room and walking in a clockwise direction. All pathology moves in a counter clockwise direction, whereas healthy cells move in a clockwise direction. When entering a room, remember always to move to the left first to create the healthy magnetic field for your building.

The Shoot

After entering your building, if you can look directly at a back door or window, you have a situation that is causing your Chi to come in and go directly out. This can have a negative effect on your finances and relationships. Your money will come in, however, it will go directly out and your relationships will be short term. Place a mirror on the back door. If there is a window, place a large tree in front of it or hang a decorative reflective piece in front of it.

Flushing Your Life Station

If you have a bathroom in any of your life stations, you will be flushing the energy of that life station down the drain. Remember to keep the toilet seat down before flushing. If you think this sounds ridiculous stand in front of the toilet and flush it. You will see that there is a counterclockwise vortex created in the flushing (re-read the section on vortices). If you have a sink in a life station, place a red dot on the ceiling above the drain.

The information we have presented here is a very beginning level of the ancient science of Feng Shi. There is much more to learn. We hope that this article will serve as a good foundation from which to grow. Now is the moment of power. Take this moment and start creating your future! Do the Life Station Audit now, review your life stations and desires every month, and watch your world start to change.
